I don't think it's just because he plays a gay teen on TV. He actually just acts extremely gay sometimes. And no one has actually confirmed that he has a girlfriend. I think he's pan. ^.^

I promise you all, he is straight. He's had an on-and-off relationship with a GIRL for at least 4 months now. Yes, he acts like he's gay but he grew up in San Fransisco, what do you expect? And the whole CrissColfer thing? He makes it seem true on purpose because he thinks it's funny and he couldn't care less about what the media or anybody for that matter thinks. Trust me, he is the strangest and weirdest person I have ever met so I would take anything he says or does with a grain of salt. But his weirdness is what makes him adorable.

God he's in love with chris colfer, Mia is gf is the beard which he can't shave because the PR and Fox. The day he said i'm in a relationship with Mia Swier i will give up on crisscolfer, not before. It's not because he brings the girl everywhere that he's her bf. Chris Colfer brings up Ashley Fink at each even and i can assure you that she's not his GF lol

Okay guys. Darren is completely straight. He's had multiple girlfriends and he is currently in a long term relationship with one of them. He's said multiple times that is is completely straight and that he's playing a gay charachter on Glee only because he thinks that it's an important topic to go over on Glee. One of his favorite quotes is that which makes you different makes you stronger. Whether your gay straight orange purple dinosaur. I don't care. So he's just an awesome straight guy who cares about equality. Let's keep shows and maybe for some people HOPES seperate from reality.

I'm easily one of Darren's biggest fans, and I know everything about him. No, he's definitely not gay. Blaine (his character on glee) is gay, sure, but no, he's straight. It doesn't matter anyway. I love him all the same, and if he were to come out as gay tomorrow, it wouldn't make a difference. Darren doesn't care what anyone says about him, or thinks about him. I can assure you, he's not gay. Well, he's not openly gay anyway. Nobody really knows but him.

Actually, in an interview with Ellen he comes out and says he is a straight man playing the part of a gay teenager. And just because he acts fun and childish doesn't mean he's gay. Him and Chris have a great relationship, but its just a best friend relationship. And until he comes out as gay, we can't assume other wise. He said he's straight, so I believe him.
